About the Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Account Manager to own and expand relationships with our SaaS customer base. This role focuses on driving revenue growth (ARR expansion), minimizing churn, and maximizing customer value. As a key player in our account management team, you will lead negotiations, renewals, and strategic account planning to foster long-term customer success and retention. Responsibilities

Account Growth & Revenue Expansion

  • Own and manage a portfolio of customer accounts with a focus on account health, customer retention & contract expansions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Prepare for and drive regular customer meetings, mitigating churn risks and ensuring seamless contract extensions.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key operational contacts, field management as well as IT, executive champions and financial decision makers to achieve a resilient and multi-threaded relationship with customers.
  • Coordinate with CSMs to conduct business reviews and strategy sessions, ensuring customers not only realize maximum value from our platform but also that this value is communicated and understood by various stakeholders.
  • Communicate Scoop’s mission, vision and roadmap to customers and help place this in the proper context for each stakeholder as well as the strategic goals of the customer organization.

Negotiations & Renewals

  • Lead renewal conversations, demonstrating ROI to secure long-term commitments.
  • Handle contract negotiations and pricing discussions to align with customer needs while meeting revenue targets.
  • Identify and address potential churn risks before they arise.

Data-Driven Customer Strategy

  • Utilize customer health analytics, usage data, and business intelligence to proactively identify expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams to align customer needs with platform capabilities.
  • Optimize and enhance customer engagement processes and playbooks to drive scalable growth.

Qualifications & Experience

Must-Have

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or Customer Success, with a focus on revenue expansion and renewals.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow B2B SaaS customer accounts, ideally within CRM, ERP, or Project Management platforms.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging technical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including experience leading business review meetings, demos, and renewal discussions.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities to drive business growth.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

    • Experience with marketing automation tools to enhance customer engagement.
    • Familiarity with recording short demo videos for customer education and engagement.
    • Experience in solar, renewable energy, or field service industries.
